Thin aragonite crystal formations, curiously arranged as “flowers”, cover the walls. Some of the amphitheaters are very spacious and host huge stalactites, also covered with aragonite crystals.
Today, it is possible to visit these environments from the bottom of the Bàsura Cave through a 120-meter long artificial tunnel. This way, Lower Santa Lucia Cave becomes the exit of the tourist route leading out to the opposite side of the mountain.
